In 1959, we were the first re-rolling steel mill in Andhra Pradesh. In 1995, we set up South India’s first narrow width strip mill. Since the beginning, the MPL Group has been committed to manufacturing superior products for the metal industry. With a team of experienced and devoted leaders at its helm, the company has emerged as a profit-making institution under the MPL Group and is committed to providing iron and steel solutions to the country’s requirements.Presently, We employ 1500 people directly and nearly 10,000 others in varying capacities. In 1996, M/s. Mahalakshmi Profiles Pvt. Ltd began its journey as producers of Hot Rolled Strips/Flats. As a product, it has multiple applications especially in the manufacture of M.S. ERW and galvanized pipes, W Straps for collieries and Rolling Shutters. The primary input in the production process of Hot Rolled Strips/Flats is M.S. Billets.

We firmly believe in maintaining high standards of quality and ourraw materials are always sourced from renowned companies. Recent times, we have set up our own Steel Melting Shop Unit to Provide Quality Material & in time Service.

July 2000 marked another milestone for us. Under the forward integration plans, we broadened our horizons by starting a division for manufacturing of MS Tubes. In 2003, we inaugurated our second pipe mill followed by the third mill in 2008; Currently, 5 Mills are running successfully. With our advanced automation plans in place, M/s. we have emerged as the Top producer of Narrow Width H.R. Coils. This achievement has given us a competitive edge in the South Indian pipe market.
